Suzanne Sole

Suzanne Sole is a Chicago-based actor, comedian, singer, and writer whose career spans theatre, television, film, sketch comedy, stand-up, and original performance.

Most recently, Suzanne returned to the Chicago stage in Vape! The Grease Parody at the Apollo Theater, playing multiple roles including Rizzo and Principal McGee. Her performance drew standout notices, including praise from the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Theatre & Concert Reviews.

Her theatre credits include playing Ivana Trump in the Off-Broadway production of The 1st Annual Trump Family Special, EB Janet in the national tour of Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody, and Muriel in the national tour of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She appeared as Dolly Tate opposite Patti LuPone in Annie Get Your Gun at Ravinia, directed by Lonny Price, and has performed with Chicago companies including Silk Road Rising, Steep Theatre, and Artemisia Theatre. Her stage work has taken her from Chicago to Los Angeles, New York, and theatres across the country.

On television, Suzanne was a series regular in VH1’s The New Partridge Family pilot and a guest star in NBC Studios’ Stephen’s Life pilot presentation, directed by Fred Savage. Additional television credits include Chicago P.D., Joey, Strong Medicine, Situation: Comedy, It’s So Over, and the TBS pilot What News?

Her film and digital work includes numerous independent films, shorts, and original comedy projects, with work selected for festivals including LA CineFest, Miami Independent Film Festival, IndieFest, World of Comedy International Film Festival in Toronto, and Guerilla Fest in Tribeca. Suzanne also co-created and starred in The Hirsches Care About the Earth and created, wrote, and starred in the 24-episode livestream sketch series The Suzanne Sole Show.

Comedy has been a through-line throughout Suzanne’s career. She trained at The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles and The Annoyance Conservatory in Chicago, has performed stand-up, sketch, improv, and cabaret, and was a Rebels of Comedy finalist at the Friars Club in Beverly Hills. Her musical background includes vocal study and jazz vocal performance at Temple University.

Suzanne is also the creator and host of The Spiritual Shitshow with Suzanne Sole, winner of two 2025 Signal Awards — Gold in Religion & Spirituality and Bronze in Comedians Shaping Culture — and creator of the original solo show Nice to Meet Me: A Comedy Cabaret About Awakening to Yourself.

A Chicagoland native, Suzanne recently returned to Chicago after years of performing and creating work around the country. Whether the material calls for broad comedy, razor-sharp character work, musical chops, or something quieter and more emotionally grounded, she brings the same thing to the room: specificity, humanity, and a point of view.
